The eclipse will first be sighted at dawn on Wednesday in Gulf of Khambhat, just north of the metropolis of Mumbai, before being seen in a broad swath moving north and east to Nepal, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Bhutan and China.

The eclipse — visible only in Asia — will reach its peak at about 6:20 a.m., and will last 6 minutes and 39 seconds at its maximum point.

It is the longest such eclipse since July 11, 1991, when a total eclipse lasting 6 minutes, 53 seconds was visible from Hawaii to South America. There will not be a longer eclipse than Wednesday’s until 2132.

Wednesday’s eclipse will be seen for 3 minutes and 48 seconds in Taregna, where scientists say residents will have the clearest view.

Over the past week, this village has been swamped by researchers who will study scientific phenomena ranging from the behaviour of birds and other animals to atmospheric changes affected by the eclipse.

Hotels in Patna were fully booked while taxis raised their rates — sensing a brief opportunity in the sudden interest in the village.

Scientists set up telescopes and other equipment in Taregna a day in advance to make the most of the window of opportunity provided by the eclipse.

“We are hoping to make some valuable observations on the formation of asteroids around the sun,” Pankaj Bhama, a scientist with Science Popularization Association of Communicators and Educators, said on Tuesday.

A 10-member team of scientists from the premier Indian Institute of Astrophysics in Bangalore and the Indian Air Force will be flying and filming the eclipse as it becomes visible in different parts of the country, an air force press release said.

Thousands of people lined up outside a planetarium in Patna on Tuesday to buy solar viewing goggles.

In Punjab, authorities ordered schools to begin an hour late to prevent children from venturing out and gazing at the sun.

Others saw a business opportunity: one travel agency in India scheduled a charter flight to watch the eclipse by air, with seats facing the sun selling at a premium.

Additional police and paramilitary troops were posted around Patna and Taregna after Maoist rebels called for a strike on Wednesday to protest increases in the price of gas and other essentials.

“Adequate numbers of forces have been deployed at Taregna where top scientists and researchers are gathering to view the celestial wonder,” said R. Mallar Vizhi, a senior superintendent of police in Patna.

SJ: There’s many rumours regarding Madara being the absolute final villain. Is this true?

MK: Madara being the final villain is yet to be seen and I can’t let that information out just yet. But he will play a big part as a villain, that’s for sure.

SJ: Now that it’s officially known that Yondaime is Naruto’s father, will you show more of Minato?

MK: Yes, definitly. I actually wanted to reveal more about Yondaime earlier, but other characters were in development and some fights still had to be dealt with.

SJ: While we’re at it… could you please tell us if Minato was the strongest shinobi that ever lived?

MK: Hmmm, it’s a tricky question. As far as dead shinobis goes, then yes, he’s the strongest. I’d say that Sandaime shares the number one spot with him. As far as living shinobis goes… well, without going into many details I’d have to say no. There’s a couple of shinobis whose stronger than him.

SJ: Now that Itachi seems to be dead, what is Kisame going to do now?

MK: Kisame has always come off as a sidevillain whose only purpose is to travel along Itachi. But to my surprise, Kisame has gone from an unpopular character to someone whose more popular than Deidara after the Gai-fight. I won’t say too much, but Kisame is a character that wont die anytime soon. I will definitly develop on his character more and possibly make him…

For gmail

Not difficult, just entering your gmail account information like account name, password, POP3 service, SMTP service. For POP3 use pop.gmail.com with SSL authentification, for SMTP use smtp.gmail.com also with  SSL authentification. Thats it I can enjoy my gmail on Evolution.

For yahoomail

Because my yahoomail default is Yahoo! Indonesia, it doesn’t support for POP3/SMTP, so I must change it to Yahoo! Asia. Yahoo! Asia is support the POP3/SMTP. After change the default service to Yahoo! Asia,

I start to add my yahoomail to Evolution. Choose Edit -> Preferences, Mail Accounts, choose Add. It will open dialog box just like setting account for my gmail. Entering my yahoomail account info such username, password, POP3 service, SMTP service.

But, don’t worry, as long as your Ubuntu is not formatted, we can restore its bootloader.

First, you must have Ubuntu Installation CD or maybe from Flashdisk or other media. Boot from it as Live Ubuntu System.

Open terminal, enter the following command : sudo grub.

Continue with these commands :

>find /boot/grub/stage1

>root (hd0,6)

>setup (hd0)

>quit

After entering all the details above, I must restart the network services using the following command :

sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart

After setting for IP Address, I must setting DNS. We can add hostname and IP addresses to the file /etc/hosts for static lookups. To cause my machine to consult with a particular server for name lookups I simply add their addresses to /etc/resolv.conf. For example a machine which should perform lookups from the DNS server at IP address 192.168.1.2 would have a resolv.conf file looking like this

sudo vi /etc/resolv.conf

enter the following details

search test.com
nameserver 192.168.1.

After done, I can start update my Jaunty from repo. First choose System -> Administration -> Software Sources find and click download from …. choose Other… and click Select Best Server, done and Close.

After done, use command :

sudo apt-get upgrade

to upgrade my Jaunty.

My Acer 4520 with Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04

For Jaunty’s installation steps you can visit www.ubuntugeek.com or www.ubuntu-id.org or other sources from Google. Sound works, webcam works, bluetooth works and almost all my lappy hardware worked well especially its Atheros wireless but poor its Nvidia Geforce 7000M (only 800×600 resolution). I need to install it manually. There are two ways:

First, we can start from System -> Administration -> Hardware Drivers choose version 180 (recommended) click active, or

Second, from terminal, using command : sudo apt-get install nvidia-glx-180.
